Watch: Massive crowd in Delhi blocks Chennai Super Kings’ bus en route to Arun Jaitley Stadium for IPL 2023 match vs Delhi Capitals

In the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals are set to clash in their final league-stage game. As the Chennai Super Kings team headed towards the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, they encountered a remarkable sight.

Numerous passionate fans had surrounded their team bus, creating a challenging situation for them to make their way into the stadium. The fans were incredibly enthusiastic and had gathered outside the stadium, causing some delays for the bus as it attempted to enter.

Sakshi Singh Dhoni, the wife of CSK captain MS Dhoni, captured the frenzy in a video and shared it on her social media account, accompanied by the caption “Greetings from Delhi! #Yellove.”

Chennai Super Kings currently hold the second position in the points table, having accumulated 15 points from 13 matches. Despite their commendable standing, their place in the top four is not yet guaranteed.

To secure a spot in the playoffs, they must emerge victorious against the Delhi Capitals in their upcoming match on Saturday.

In the event of a defeat, Chennai Super Kings would have to rely on the outcomes of other matches to determine their fate. Naturally, MS Dhoni and his team would prefer to have control over their destiny by clinching a crucial win in their own hands.

In their previous match, Chennai Super Kings suffered a surprising defeat at the hands of the Kolkata Knight Riders, losing by six wickets. On the other hand, the Delhi Capitals secured a victory over the Punjab Kings with a 15-run margin.

While Chennai may be considered the favorites for the upcoming game, it is important to note that it may not be an easy task for them. The outcome of the match is uncertain, and the Delhi Capitals could pose a significant challenge to Chennai Super Kings’ quest for a win.

CSK have won the toss and opted to bat first. Chennai are going with an unchanged squad. For DC, Lalit Yadav comes in and Ishant Sharma misses out.
