Lucknow Super Giants’ Mohsin Khan out of majority of IPL 2023; Chennai Super Kings’ left-arm pacer also joins the list

While the fans are quite excited for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season, but even before the opening match is played of the tournament, there has already been more than a dozens of players who have been ruled out of IPL 2023 due to injury.

Some of the big names who are set to miss the IPL 2023 season includes the likes of Jasprit Bumrah, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, Jonny Bairstow, Will Jacks, Prasidh Krishna etc.

Now the latest names to have joined the list are the Lucknow Super Giants left-arm pacer Mohsin Khan and Chennai Super Kings’ Mukesh Choudhary.

The duo have been nursing injury that they sustained during the team’s training camp. Both the players are quite important for both the teams season perspective. Both of them have delivered for the team in the IPL 2022 season and are certainly gonna be big miss for the franchises.

Mohsin Khan, the 24-years-old was bought for his base price in the IPL 2022 Auction by the Lucknow franchise and he took 14 wickets in 9 matches for them.

As for Mukesh Choudhary, the 26 years old also made his debut in 2022 and was a huge revelation in what was a terrible season for the team. In 13 matches, Mukesh took 16 wickets and was the highest wicket-taker for them in absence of star bowler Deepak Chahar.

Both Chennai Super Kings and Lucknow Super Giants will start their IPL 2023 campaign on the 31st of March and 1st of April vs Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals respectively.
