Liam Livingstone ruled out of PSL 2022, Peshawar Zalmi loses fourth overseas player

Pakistan Super League (PSL) side Peshawar Zalmi have lost their fourth overseas player in the currently ongoing Pakistan Super League 2022 edition as Liam Livingstone has been ruled out of the remainder of the PSL 2022 season.

Even though the Peshawar based Peshawar Zalmi side having a good campaign in the ongoing Pakistan Super League 2022, the suffering outside of playing ground as a total of four overseas players of the team have been ruled out of the remainder of the PSL 2022.

Liam Livingstone has become the recent name to join the list as the England all-rounder has been now ruled out of the remainder of the Pakistan Super League 2022 season due to injury.

The Peshawar based side confirmed that the star English all-rounder has suffered a finger injury and given that there is very less time left for the conclusion of the tournament and Livingstone wouldn’t have been fit by that, the English all-rounder has left the country.

Adding Liam Livingstone, Peshawar Zalmi now have had 4 overseas players now ruled out of the tournament as the team is in the very door of making it to the semi-final of the tournament, as they find themselves 3rd in the league table.

The other three Peshawar Zalmi players who have been ruled out of the remainder of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2022 season are Saqib Mahmood, Sherfane Rutherford and Tom Kohler-Cadmore.

While Liam Livingstone has has been ruled out of the tournament due to injury, West Indies’ all-rounder Sherfane Rutherford pulled himself out of the tournament due to family reasons, whereas Saqib Mahmood has returned home to prepare for the upcoming West Indies series, while explosive opening batsman Tom Kohler-Cadmore has also sustained an injury.

With four overseas players now ruled out of the tournament, Peshawar Zalmi have signed another English cricketer in Benny Howell. Howell most recently featured in the recently concluded Bangladesh Premier League 2022 season and is currently under quarantine, as per cricketpakistan.
