Twitter has been undergoing a series of changes under the leadership of Elon Musk, who had recently announced that the verified Blue Tick Mark on profiles could only be retained through a subscription of Twitter Blue.

Despite this, it appears that several users, including Dhoni, Rohit, and Kohli, have not subscribed to Twitter Blue and have consequently lost their verified status.

A few weeks back, Twitter declared its intention to eliminate the “Legacy Blue” Checkmarks from profiles, as it aims to prompt users to pay for verification ticks that were previously allocated differently.

Despite the new policy, Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Sharma, and numerous other cricketing greats continued to display their “Legacy Blue” Checkmarks on their profiles. However, on Friday morning, all of them lost their Blue Ticks.

Twitter Blue is a paid subscription service offered by Elon Musk’s company that not only provides verified checkmarks on profiles upon subscribing but also offers other perks. Twitter Blue is available on both iOS and Android devices, and it can be purchased on Twitter’s website as well. The monthly subscription fee for users in India is Rs 900 for iOS and Android users, whereas it is lower at Rs 650 per month for those who use the web version.

Additionally, users can opt for the annual plan of Twitter Blue by paying Rs 6,800, which amounts to approximately Rs 566 per month. However, this plan is exclusively available on the web version of Twitter.
