The special occasion of wearing this jersey in the match against KKR is that, after the match, all of the jerseys will be auction as a reason behind a noble cause.

The initiative provides an excellent opportunity for Delhi Capitals fans to own match-worn and signed shirts of their favorite players while also raising funds for charity. With every ball bowled, every wicket taken, and every run scored, fans can get closer to the action than ever and have fun moments by placing their bidding on the DC shirts the players are wearing .

And each bid made by a fan will help raise funds for Inspire Institute of Sport (IIS) Vijayanagar. IIS, a unique initiative led by JSW Group, is India’s first privately funded high performance training center to train talented young athletes in various Olympic sports. The money raised during the auction will be used to build India’s future sports stars.

“It gives us great pleasure to continue this partnership with Delhi Capitals, that too with an exclusive shirt. Inspire Institute of Sport (IIS) is a great initiative for Indian athletes created by JSW Sports and has given the country some of its best sportspersons. It is a matter of pride for us that we are a part of his initiative,” CEO of MatchWornShirt Tijmen Zonderwijk said about the initiative.
