Former Pakistan cricketer thinks Pakistan lacks a Hardik Pandya like all-rounder while comparing two teams

India vs Pakistan clashes are always a special match in the history of the game. And the two neighbours will be facing off each other after a gap almost an year when they take the field in the upcoming Asia Cup tournament on the 28th of August. Meanwhile, former Pakistan cricketer has pointed out where Pakistan lacks compare to India.

There is always a different excitement when the Indian cricket team plays against their neighbours and arch-rival Pakistan. It is the most watched match in the history of the sport. However, due to the political reasons, the Bilateral series’ between both the countries have been cut off.

Nowadays, India and Pakistan barely play against each other, except for the multi-team events. And, after a gap of almost an year, after the T20 World Cup 2021 opener, India and Pakistan is set to face each other on the 28th of August.

Except for their win the last year’s World Cup match, Pakistan record against India has been really bad. Meanwhile, former Pakistan cricketer Aaqib Javed has compared and pointed out where Pakistan lacks against India.

While speaking to the PAKtv website, the former World Cup winner for Pakistan said that the difference between India and Pakistan is the batting department and on their days, Rohit Sharma or Virat Kohli could single handedly win matches for India.

“The difference between the two teams lies in their batting. India’s batting is still more experienced. If a batter like Rohit Sharma or Virat Kohli clicks, they can single handedly win matches for India,” said Javed.

He also pointed out that Pakistan’s all-rounders are really weak compare to of Team India’s. He said that Pakistan at the moment is lacking a player like Hardik Pandya. “Also their all-rounders makes a difference, because Pakistan doesn’t have a Hardik Pandya like all-rounder,” he further added.
