Former Indian cricket team opening batter Wasim Jaffer has earned a massive fan following on Twitter because of his sense of humor. Apart from his Twitter activity, Wasim also works as a cricket expert for ESPNCricinfo, batting coach for the IPL team named Punjab Kings and chief coach of the Odisha domestic cricket team.

Many fans of Indian cricket would know that the 2021-22 edition of India’s most prestigious 50-over domestic tournament named the Vijay Hazare Trophy is currently underway in India. Teams from across the country are participating in this 50-over tournament. The chief coach of the Odisha domestic cricket team, Wasim Jaffer, is also busy with his team in this competition.

Because of his involvement with the Odisha domestic cricket team and the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy 2021-22, Wasim Jaffer has not been so active on his Twitter account. Naturally, his fans are missing his memes and sense of humor on the micro-blogging platform.

Wasim Jaffer replied to a fan who wants to know why he has not posted about The Ashes

The oldest cricketing rivalry of all time has reignited in Australia, where the Australian cricket team is taking on the England cricket team in an ICC World Test Championship series. The Ashes 2021/22 has started since December 8, but Wasim Jaffer has not posted a single meme about the series.

A curious fan asked him on Twitter: “BTW, no @WasimJaffer14 tweets on the ashes????”. Wasim replied to him as follows: “Frankly I’m more interested in the #VijayHazareTrophy at the moment @cricket_odisha.”

Odisha have won both of their matches so far in the Elite Group A. It will be interesting to see if they can win the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
