Pakistan Super League 2022 has ended and the fans have got a new champion, the Lahore Qalandars. And without a doubt, this was the best edition of PSL so far. And the PCB chairman, Ramiz Raja, also accepted that fact and acknowledged the fans for their support in making it successful. Pakistani fans are among those who always support their team no matter what the performance is and always enjoy the game. And one such incident happened during the final of the PSL between Lahore and Multan. One selfie between two young fans and star opener Fakhar Zaman is going viral on social media.
Two fans took a picture of them from the stands with the Lahore opener, who was fielding at the boundary line, and shared it on their Twitter account. It was a hilarious tweet as Fakhar was not seen clearly in the picture because he was standing too far away. And whoever saw that picture didn’t stop laughing.
The tweet got so viral that even the Pakistani opener shared it and replied to those fans. Fakhar Zaman retweeted the image and said, “It was nice to meet you.” And his reply is being liked by the fans.
PSL 2022 Final: Lahore Qalandars vs Multan Sultans
Earlier, it was an exciting final encounter for the PSL title between two powerhouses. Batting first, Lahore scored 180 runs in their 20 overs. Mohammad Hafeez scored a match-winning half-century (69 off 46 balls). Harry Brook (41 off 22) and David Wiese (28 off 8) also helped the team get to the competitive total. Chasing the target of Multan didn’t start well and they lost wickets at regular intervals. And in the end, Lahore who won the match comprehensively by 42 runs and won their maiden PSL title. And Fakhar was the highest run-scorer in the tournament, with 588 runs in just 13 matches in PSL 2022.
