“Babar Azam is a big Zero, should not be compared with Virat Kohli” – Former Pakistan cricketer slams Babar Azam after Test series whitewash against England

Former Pakistan cricket team’s player Danish Kaneria has made a bold statement for his team’s captain Babar Azam, calling him a big zero and that he shouldn’t be compared with the likes of Virat Kohli anyway.

Pakistan cricket team suffered a huge 3-0 defeat in the 3 match Test series against the visiting England cricket team.

The series started for the hosts in a much criticism because of the flat dead pitch used in Rawalpindi for the match. However, due to England declaring the inning early, the match turned quite interesting in the end, but eventually the England team won the match.

While the 1st match was a high scoring match, the 2nd match turned out to be a low scoring match. Barely a 1000 runs was scored in the match combining all the inning and here too England won the match to seal the series. This also turned out be an exciting end to the match.

The 3rd match was a easy win for the England. It was also not a big scoring match but England chased down the target with ease on Day 4 itself. With this series defeat for the Pakistan team captain Babar Azam, he became the only Pakistani captain to lose 4 home Test series.

After that, in a video uploaded on his YouTube channel, former Pakistan cricketer Danish Kaneria said that Babar Azam is a big zero and should not be compared with the likes of Virat Kohli.

He said, “People should stop comparing Babar Azam to Virat Kohli. The likes of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are very big players. Pakistan have nobody in their team who can be compared to them. If you make them talk, they will be a king. When you ask them to produce results, they’ll be zero.”

He further added that Babar Azam’s leadership qualities is a big Zero, “Babar Azam is a big zero as captain. He doesn’t deserve to lead the team. He is not capable of leading the team, especially when it comes to Test cricket.”

After this series defeat, the next agenda for the Pakistan team is hosting the New Zealand cricket team for a 2 match Test series and 3 match ODI series beginning from the 26th of December.
