The Indian team toured South Africa for 3 match Test series and as many matches One Day International (ODI) series. After picking up the win in the first Test in Centurion, the Men in Blue lost the next 5 matches to concede series defeat in both the formats.

The Indian cricket team was hopeful of scripting a new history in South Africa as they were looking register India’s first ever Test series win in South Africa, but that dream was shattered.

Former South African pace bowler and legend Dale Steyn has reacted as saying that, there is a particular player that India missed very much throughout the series.

Dale Steyn was present for a show in Star Sports where he said this. Steyn said that India missed the services of Ravindra Jadeja. He added that Jadeja has all the skills to control the game with his left-arm spin bowling, while he can also contribute with the bat.

He also talked about India bowling unit, mentioning that there is a change needed. He added that India someone to backup Jasprit Bumrah, who can bowl 140 to 145 KMPH, and mentioned Mohammed Siraj as the probable option.
