Arjun Tendulkar, the Mumbai Indians team all-rounder, was involved in an unfortunate incident before the match against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Tendulkar, who is an all-rounder, disclosed that he had been bitten by a dog during a conversation with Yudhvir Singh, a player from the LSG team, just before the IPL face-off between the two teams.
The LSG team shared a video on Twitter in which Arjun mentioned the dog bite. When Yudhvir inquired about his well-being, Arjun showed his left hand, which is his bowling hand, and revealed the dog bite.
Arjun Tendulkar has had a good run this season for the Mumbai Indians, featuring in several games for the 5-time champions. He has taken a total of 3 wickets in four matches, with an average of 30.66 and an economy rate of 9.35.
However, Arjun has had limited opportunities to bat this season, and he scored just 13 runs in his only outing with the bat.
As there are two more games left in the league stage of this season, Arjun Tendulkar would be hoping to get at least one more opportunity to showcase his skills against some of the world’s top players.
The Mumbai Indians team is currently in a good position in terms of their playoffs qualification hopes. To secure a spot in the playoffs, the franchise needs to win at least one of their remaining two matches.
In contrast, the Lucknow Super Giants team is in a more precarious situation than their opponents. Led by Krunal Pandya, Lucknow has only accumulated 13 points so far, with two more games to go. Ideally, LSG would want to win both matches, as a single defeat could see them fall short in the race for playoffs qualification.
