Watch: Alex Carey misses Hundred as Babar Azam bowls out the Aussie batsman during 2nd Test

After a massive criticism received from all around the corner for the pitch condition in the first Test, the 2nd Test match seems no different, but what really caught the eyes was when Pakistan skipper Babar Azam dismissed Alex Carey for the score of 93 runs, missing out on his hundred.

After the first match ended in a draw and the lot of criticism because of the Rawalpindi’s Pindi Ground’s pitch condition, the 2nd Test match between Pakistan and Australia began on the 12th March. And after the end of the day 2’s play, Australia are in controll of the match, having put 505 runs on the board after 180 overs.

After winning the toss, Pat Cummins opted to bat first in the 2nd Test being played in Karachi’s National Stadium. While David Warner didn’t took advantage of the pitch, his opening partner Usman Khawaja took better of it as the Pakistan born Australian batsman scored 160 runs.

Then Steve Smith also showcased his batting skills as the former skipper scored 72 runs. Wicketkeeper batsman Alex Carey kept the scoreboard running as the left-hander was showing some good display with the bat.

But unfortunately for him, he missed out on his hundred when a part-time bowler, who is normally a batsman, the Pakistan cricket team’s skipper Babar Azam clean bowled when he was batting at 93 runs.

With the bowlers failing to take control of the match against the Aussie batsmen, Babar Azam decided to take things onto his own hand and succeed when he finally got the better of Alex Carey, who will be gutted to miss out his Hundred.

At the end of Day 2’s play, Australia have lost 8 wickets with 505 runs on the board. With almost the half of the match done, it is only the 1st inning of the match out of a total 4 inning, that is being played. And it seems like its once heading towards a draw.
