But ahead of their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, there has been major changes in the Mumbai Indians squad. The team went through a number of overhaul throughout the off-season and one of the big change is of their veteran all-rounder and former vice-captain Kieron Pollard, who has officially retired from IPL.

Kieron Pollard was always a presence in their middle-order who could play some really great innings and then also come up clutch with few overs as well. However, just before the IPL 2023 Auction, Pollard announced his retirement and is now working with the franchise as their batting coach.

Tim David

Tim David was somewhat successful for the Mumbai franchise. The Singapore born Australian all-rounder was a member of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) before joining Mumbai for IPL 2022. He played 8 matches and scored 286 runs with a strike rate of 216 in IPL 2022. While he didn’t bowl in the tournament, he is also capable of being the 8th choice bowling option for the team.

Cameron Green

The next player in our list another Australian all-rounder Cameron Green. Green was bought for a huge 17.5 INR by the Mumbai franchise. He has been a great member of the Australian and would look to do the same for Mumbai. He has played 8 T20I matches and has scored 139 runs with a strike rate of 173. He also has 5 wickets to his name.

Dewald Brevis

The next player in our list is Dewald Brevis. Despite Mumbai Indians having a terrible season in 2022, Dewald Brevis was one of the few bright spot of what was a black campaign for the team. Brevis, who is mainly prefers to play at the top-order, but can be utilised as a lower-order hard-hitting batsman and he can also bowl few leg-spin overs for his team.
