The upcoming 4 match Test series between Indian cricket team and the Australian cricket team, also known as the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, is set to be an intense battle of red ball cricket.
After their last meeting in Australia, remember the historic Test series in 2021, the Australian cricket team is out for revenge against the home team.
The Border-Gavaskar Trophy, that is set to begin from the 9th of February, is a crucial one for both the teams as it means a lot to both the teams. For India, they would like to win the series and confirm their qualification into the World Test Championship 2021-2023 Final.
As for Australia, just like we mentioned, Australia are out for a revenge against the Indian cricket team for their historic series defeat at home and would like to end Indian cricket team’s dominance at home.
The Australian team have been full on training mode after arriving in India. Interestingly, they have hired Indian spin bowler Mahesh Pithiya as their net bowler to practice Ravichandran Ashwin’s spin bowling.
Ashwin is a crucial member of the Indian Test team and Australia are aware of the danger. As such, they have Mahesh Pithiya who has the same bowling action as Ravichandran Ashwin.
But Twitter shared that whatever Australia do, Ashwin is a quality bowler and can be a huge trouble for the visiting team.

Mahesh Pithiya grew up being called “Ashwin” owing to his uncanny impersonation of his idol @ashwinravi99 & he ended up ‘playing’ Ashwin for Australia in their first training session on tour & making a big impression on Steve Smith.
