After a 1-0 series defeat against the hosts New Zealand in the ODI series of 3 matches, of which 2 were called off due to rain, the Indian team is back in action tomorrow as the Men in Blue takes on Bangladesh in Dhaka.
After winning the 3 match T20I series against New Zealand 1-0 and losing the 3 match ODI 1-0 to New Zealand, the senior players are back in the team is looking to guide the team to glory against the neighbours Bangladesh.
Players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul were rested for the New Zealand series but are back in the team for the series. With the 1st ODI to be played tomorrow at the Sher-e-Bangla stadium, India captain Rohit Sharma attended the pre-match press conference.
During the same, Rohit was asked about Bangladeshi players and in reply to that, he went on to say that Bangladesh have quality players and match winners in the team. He also added that those players deserves a shot at the IPL and added that IPL teams should look to pick some Bangladeshi players in the upcoming IPL 2023 Auction on the 23rd of December.
Meanwhile, it did go well with the Indian fans as they want the Indian players to pay more attention to Indian team when they are playing for the team.
