A brilliant performance against Hong Kong meant that Team India pick-up their 2dn win in 2 matches of the Asia Cup 2022 to top Group A and qualify for the Super 4 round. It was Suryakumar Yadav and Virat Kohli show ith the bat last night, however, the former India captain even tried his hands on with the ball as well.
While batting, Hong Kong phenomenal job of keeping the Indian players and not allowing them to even score past 100 runs by the end of 13th over. But then, Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav took the charge to their hand and put India into a solid position. While Suryakumar scored 68 runs from 26 balls, Virat Kohli scored 59 runs.
While Virat delivered with the bat, but he also tried his hand with the ball as well. Kohli took the ball to his hand bowled the 17th over of the inning. In that 6 balls that he bowled, he just gave away 6 runs without conceding any boundary.
Meanwhile after that, many fans have raised voice over preferring Virat Kohli to bowl over Avesh Khan, who went expensive in the match. Avesh gave away 53 runs in his 4 overs quota.
