The Indian cricket team has travelled to the Caribbean island for the upcoming limited overs series against the mighty Carribbeans West Indies that begins on the 22nd of July.
Team India is currently following a very hectic and tight schedule for the last couple of week, especially after the IPL. After the conclusion of the IPL 2022, Team India has played series against South Africa, Ireland and England and West Indies is set to be the fourth team India face in 2 months after IPL.
This is the 2nd time that Team India and West Indies are squaring-off against each other this year after having last played in 2022 itself when the West Indies team toured India for 3 ODIs and as many T20Is.
However, there has been a lot of changes in the Indian team’s squad that has travelled to West Indies from the last time that played in February.

Deepak Chahar
Pace bowler Deepak Chahar is another player who played in the West Indies series earlier this year however is not part of the travelling squad to West Indies. Deepak featured in the 3rd match of the series, taking 3 wickets. However, he suffered a major injury prior to IPL 2022 and was ruled out for the entire competition. He is currently training at the NCA, however, only his performance will determine his future.
