Indian cricket team’s 2nd inning in the rescheduled 5th Test match between India and England is currently ongoing as India is in a bit of a pickle after the batting unit failed to score big. However, just like the first inning, Rishabh Pant stepped up once again showcased his brilliant batting.
Continuing on from their overnight, the Indian team got off to a decent start before they lost the wicket of Cheteshwar Pujara. Shreyas Iyer fell pray to a bouncer after showing promise.
However, while one end was shaky for India, Rishabh Pant kept his side farm and stood there, trying his best to propel India to a good position.
Pant scored 57 runs of 86 balls before he was dismissed by Jack Leach. However, during his inning, the batter recreated the iconic Yuzvendra Chahal meme post, where he was sleeping on side chest after he hit a boundary to Leach.
