Todd Murphy

There has been much talk in the Australia cricket media that young off-spin bowler Todd Murphy could be set to make his debut in the series. With the pitch set to assist the spinners, the Aussies could be going with 2 spinners, however, with Nathan Lyon already in the team, it is not sure that how much chances are there for Murphy to make his debut. Murphy plays domestic cricket for Victoria and has taken 26 wickets in 6 matches.

Lance Morris

Australia have another debutant, Lance Morris in the squad, but there has been so far no reports that he could play in the match. However, with the reports suggesting that Josh Hazlewood has been ruled out of the 1st match to due injury, Lance could be seen bowling alongside skipper Pat Cummins.
