He made his Test debut in May of that year and then followed that up with his ODI debut next month. Ishant played a total of 105 Test matches and took 311 wickets and 115 wickets in 80 ODI matches.
Praveen Kumar
Along with Ishant Sharma, who brought pace, Praveen Kumar is another pace bowler who made his debut the same year and he brought swing to the Indian team. He made his ODI debut in 2007 vs Pakistan in November. Till then, he played till 2012 for the Indian team in ODI and took a total of 77 wickets in 68 matches.
Gautam Gambhir
Left-hand opening batsman Gautam Gambhir made his T20I debut in 2007, the same year when Rohit Sharma made his debut. Gautam Gambhir had already made his ODI and T20I debut couple years back. He played for the Indian team till 2012 in the shortest format of the game and scored 932 runs from 37 matches. He has also contributed massively in Test and ODI for Team India, scoring more than 4000 runs in each format.
Yuvraj Singh
Yuvraj Singh, the star all-rounder also made his T20I debut the same year as the current India captain Rohit Sharma. Yuvraj was already playing in the longest formats of the game, Test and ODI before making his T20I debut in 2007. He proved to be quite a great player for India in all formats. And who doesn’t remember him smashing Stuart Broad for 6 sixes in an over in the T20 World Cup. He played a total of 58 T20I matches for India and scored 1177 runs and took 28 wickets.
