The first series that makes it to our list the Australia’s tour of India back in the year 2019. Team India and Australia played a 5 ODI series in March, 2019. Team India won the opening 2 matches of the series in Hyderabad and Nagpur. However, Australia scripted an emphatic comeback to win the next 3 matches and win the series 2-3.

India vs South Africa, 2015

The next team who were able to defeat the Indian cricket team in India is none other than South Africa. It was in 2015 when South Africa registered 2-3 series over the hosts. South Africa won the opening ODI but India won the next match, the same was the case for the next 2 matches as well, making it 2-2. The series decider was won South Africa, making it a 2-3 win in the 5 match ODI series.


India vs Pakistan, 2012-2013

The 3rd and the last series in our list is the one that hurt the Indian cricket fans the most as it was against none other than their biggest rival Pakistan. In a 3 match ODI series, Pakistan won the opening 2 matches in Chennai and Kolkata to seal the series with 1 match to go that the Indian team eventually won in Delhi. Meanwhile the interesting fact is that, this was the last time that Pakistan visited India for a series.
